APPEARANCE

Haruhi has yellow-brown eyes and shoulder length brown hair, she always wears a yellow-orange ribbon with a bow on each side in her hair. She has a few different outfits and costumes she wears but when she gets pulled into Econtra she'll be wearing her winter school uniform which consists of brown shoes, black knee-high socks, a blue skirt, and a sailor style long sleeved shirt with blue edging and an insignia that looks like a capital cursive "m" on the chest. Haruhi is normal build for a girl her age, and considered to be quite attractive. She got an A in that department."

PERSONALITY

Cold, quiet, and uninterested until something paranormal happens then she lets out her true self: loud, bossy, and determined. She has no apparent modesty: she'll do things that normal people would be embarrassed about or would never do like undressing in a room full of boys... she doesn't care. She'd rather be seen as strange and unpredictable, than be understood. If someone asks her out she'll always say yes but they never last more than a few days.

SPECIAL

Abilities/Strengths: above average athletic ability and high grades. She can unconsciously change the reality around her to her likeing (example: She wanted aliens, time-travels, and ESPers to exsit, they transfer into her school) and create "closed space" (a piece of the world that no one other than ESPers can get into where blue physics-defying monsters destory things to relive stress) when upset, really bored, or meloncholic. (her abilities are lessened outside her universe so she lacks the ability to get herself home or create a world without need of Econtra)

Weapons: none but she could easily learn if she had to.

Weaknesses: She'll never consider others' feelings, and is not above trying to use people weaker than her to get what she wants. She can't stand not getting her way, and hates to show weakness of any kind. Also she has no idea she has any powers, so she can't use them consciously. Her competivness can also be a weakness because she really hates to lose, and isn't the best team player.

HISTORY

When Haruhi was little girl she thought herself and classmates to be the most interesting people on earth, then one day she went to a baseball game with her father. When she saw how many people were there and found out that all those people were just a drop in the ocean she felt very small and insignificant. That's when she decided that she would find non-ordinary humans; this is also around the same time that, according to The Agency, the world was restarted because Haruhi was unhappy with it.

All through middle school she kept scowling and hardly spoke much to anyone, all the while harboring the wish that when she entered high school things would change.

On the first day of highschool Haruhi introduced her self by saying "From East Middle School, Suzumiya Haruhi. I have no interest in ordinary humans. If there are any aliens, time travelers, ESPers, or sliders out there, join me." In complete seriousness. Then she went back to her usual cold self, after about the first week of school no one tried to talk to her anymore. Except one day after Golden Week, Kyon, the boy who sat in front of her all year asked her about her hair. She looked at him funny and asked if they'd met before, he didn't think so. The next day, "for no reason", Haruhi chopped off her long hair at the shoulders.

As the days progressed she started having actual conversations with Kyon it was during one of these that he accidently gave her the idea to start her own club. and thus the "Saving the world by Overloading it with fun with Haruhi Suzumiya brigade" always shortened to "SOS brigade" was born with Haruhi as the leader. It's members included the sexy and cute time-traveler Asahina Mikuru, the quiet and bookish alien Nagato Yuki, the mysterious transfer student ESPer Koizumi Itsuki, and Kyon.

The SOS brigade's sole purpose was to find aliens, time-traveler, ESPers etc. and have fun with them! Of course Haruhi had no idea that the members of her club where the very thing that she sought. (They weren't allowed to tell her because that could cause her to awaken to her powers and who knows what that would do?!)

One day, apparently she had become bored with the world and was unconsciously preparing to destroy and restart it, Haruhi created a giant "closed space" around the school the only living things in it were Haruhi and Kyon. At first Haruhi was scared but soon became excited when she saw the giant logic defying monsters destroying everything. Kyon had to try to prevent the end of the world as we know it. He grabbed her by the hand and ran out side, Haruhi wouldn't listen to what he was trying to tell her, she thought he wanted different and exciting.

Then he said "ponytails turn me on" and kissed her and in a magical implosion the closed-space disappeared and...

...they found themselves in Econtra.
